Trying to get ahead is difficult enough in
the for-profit world, but the challenges are
even greater in a non-profit one. Prices can't
be raised to make up for market dips, and there
is only so far an organization can go in
trimming the excesses when most or all of its
personnel are volunteers in the first place.
We can identify with those struggles so we base our rates
on strictly a time and materials basis. We don't charge a
percentage because the cost of a project has nothing to do
with the amount of time and effort it takes to research and
prepare a grant application. Just because your organization
is asking for a larger amount of money doesn't mean you
should have to pay more in our book.
We already know how much time it takes to prepare
applications for many different programs so our prices for
those are set below. For any grant programs not listed we
will investigate the costs and give you a set price up front
before any work is done or any commitments are made so that
there are no surprises. We also don't require an up front
payment; just a purchase order or a signed contract is all
we need to begin working to find the funding your
organization needs.
Public Safety Programs:
- Assistance to Firefirefighters (AFG), SAFER, Fire
Prevention & Safety - $300 (individual applications)
- AFG, SAFER, FP&S Regional applications - $400 for 2
organizations, $150 each additional organization
- USDA Rural Emergency Initiative - $500
- Fire Station Construction (FSC) - $600
- Most Department of Homeland Security programs - $500
and up
- Private Foundations - vary by program, average $500
Non-Profit/Educational
- US Department of Agriculture - $500
- US Department of Education - vary by program,
average $750
- Private Foundations - vary by program, average $500
Our prices are one-time fees for project & application
development. If your application is not funded then we will
continue to work on that application to that grant program
until it is funded at no charge for narrative & project
development updates. If we assist with online application
entry or document creation then the resubmit fee is just $50
to cover office expenses.
