Come learn the 4 Rights of Grants
at our Grant Writing 500 classes!
Vickers Consulting Services, Inc.
will now be offering both 1 and 2 day grant
writing workshops. The new workshop formats
will provide more in-depth analysis of the grant
writing process including more about the traps
organizations fall into when writing their
grants and how to avoid them. If your
organization is interested in hosting a workshop
in your area, please see below for more details!
Both of our workshop formats are available
for each of these genres:
- Fire & EMS
- Law Enforcement
- Civic Associations
- Faith-Based Organizations
- Educational Organizations
This ensures that you get the most out of
your valuable time spent with us since all of the attendees
will be from the same background as you, providing for a
more in-depth experience than general topic workshops.
The 1 day format:
-
8 hour class (can be split into two
4 hour night classes)
-
For beginning writers to experienced writers
-
Covers all aspects of grant pursuit including:
·
general concepts of grant writing and grant
programs
·
where to find grants

·
how to figure out what the grant maker wants
to see (needs statements, project goals, measurable results,
etc)
·
how to argue effectively in narratives
·
and so much more we don’t have the room to
list it all…
-
Will also include a free analysis of a past grant
application written for any attending department who is
willing to have it reviewed as a part of the presentation
(must be received 10 days prior to the application period to
be included).
-
Hand-outs and lunch will be provided
Cost - $250 for the first person from an organization

same organization.

and 20 people minimum must be confirmed 32 days prior to the
set workshop date. The host department may have up to 5

The 2 day format:
-
1st day will be the same as the above
mentioned single day format
-
Everyone will leave the 1st day with a set
of guidelines of and an actual application packet for a
current or upcoming grant program they are eligible for.
The 2nd day:
-
We will review additional questions or information
not covered on Day 1.
-
Will be spent writing an application for a program
that your department is eligible for.
-
We will help guide everyone in writing their
applications so by the time the class is over you will have
an application ready for the next opening of that program.
-
You will leave prepared to not only apply for the
application you worked on, but will have the tools to seek
out other grant applications in your area as well as
nationwide, plus be prepared to apply for them.
-
Lunch and handouts will be provided on both days.
Cost - $450 for the first person from the organization
- $250 for the second person from the same organization

We have already
started reserving dates, so if you are interested in hosting
a workshop in your area, please call to reserve a date
TODAY!
Our prices are lower than the average Workshop costs out
there because we have departments host at their facilities
or nearby schools & community centers so we can avoid
renting hotel conference rooms (but are willing to do so if
it is needed to accommodate a large group). We believe grant
information doesn't have to be expensive.
If you have any additional questions, would like more
information or would like to book a date in your area,
please call our office at 281-944-9405 or you can e-mail us
at
info@vickersconsultingservices.com .
Registration is
limited per date to a first-come, first-serve
basis.
Some locations have limited seating so the
number of participants from
one organization may also be limited to cover as
many as possible.
Additional dates and locations will be added
as scheduling permits.
Come hear what
the grant programs don't tell you about
your grant applications!
